Robert Macaruso is ZDS’s Director of Interior Design, working in the Providence office. With over 40 years’ experience, he has led design teams and collaborated with owners and operators on the design and development of luxury hotels, resorts and branded hospitality projects around the world. His passion for creating memorable design narratives brings a unique perspective to the diverse project typologies at ZDS. A mentor to talented young creatives, he fosters a collaborative approach to the design process in the studio. Reid Ennis is a Project Manager at ZDS. He leads the documentation and management of his projects, mentoring team members and working closely with clients to meet or exceed their goals throughout design and construction. Reid is technically fluent across the firm’s architectural and design software and is an advocate for the BIM process in the office. Before moving back to Rhode Island he lived and worked in Dubai.

Olivia Macaruso is a Designer on the Interior Design team and serves as the FF&E Design Manager, leading the firm’s FF&E efforts in both the Providence and Washington, DC studios. With a background in luxury hospitality design, she has worked on numerous five-star branded properties across the United States and the Caribbean. She specializes in curating furniture, fabrics, and finishes into layered design stories that elevate the guest experience. Liv envisions each design from the onset, balancing tailored upholstery details, material palettes, lighting and artwork to bring each project’s design vision to life from concept through completion. Outside of the office, Liv has an interest in all things fashion and enjoys taking her dog Charles to the beach.

Aimee Lombardo is ZDS’s Managing Principal and Director of Operations, overseeing firm leadership and management. Adam Beauregard joined ZDS as a licensed architect 4 years ago and is currently a Project Manager with 10 years of experience throughout his career. Eric Schall is an Associate Principal and Senior Project Manager with ZDS inc. Before joining ZDS, he worked at firms that focused on high-end beachfront properties and higher education. In his current role, Eric is responsible for managing the Interior Design department for all ID and interior architecture projects in our Providence & Washington DC studios. While passionate about hospitality and gaming projects, his diverse portfolio also includes adaptive reuse and historic tax credit rehabilitation projects—several of which have received multiple awards and industry recognition. Eric is a licensed architect and plays a key role in driving the firm’s growth across both studios, while remaining deeply committed to its long-term strategic development. Outside of the office, Eric enjoys skiing throughout the winter and spending summers on the golf course or in New Jersey.
